Battle at the Border 6
Mark your calenders for Saturday, August 21 and make the trek to Dakota Magic Casino in Hankinson, N.D. for Battle at the Border 6. Always the best all pro show in the area. Josh Rosaaen out of Rapid City, S.D. will defend his middleweight title against John Troyer who is
a former fighter for Bellator, Bodog Fights and Hook N' Shoot. Also slated to appear is John DeVall, Carlos Claudio, John Chester, Jason Brown, James Harrington, Matt Williams and more. The Cage Inc. crew is also working on putting together a 4 man lightweight tournament.

Extreme Challenge Outdoors
in Council Bluffs
Extreme Challenge makes it way back to Council Bluffs, Ia. at Harrah's on Friday, July 16. This time the fights will be held outside at the Stir Concert Cove. What an ideal place to hold the fights. A great fight card as well as some of the best in the region square off. The main event sees Omaha's top lightweight Alonzo "Zo Diddy" Martinez battle Seattle's Lloyd Woodard. The rumor has it that this is a dress rehearsal for Martinez before taking the step to the big time of the UFC.
Rapid City's Clint Godfrey Returns to WEC.
Clint Godfrey from Rapid City makes his way back to the Octagon of the WEC in Denver, Colorado on September 30 against Demetrious Johnson. Godfrey who is coming off a loss in his WEC debut to former IFL Champion Wagnney Fabiano by decision back in January looks to taste victory for the first time in the bantamweight division in the WEC. Meanwhile Johnson is coming off a loss as well in his debut for the Zuffa owned orginization to British fighter Brad Pickett. Should be a good matchup and should be many fans from the Hills making the trip to Colorado to cheer on Godfrey.

What many have said was the best fight ever in the UFC took place on Saturday night. Webster, S.D. born Brock Lesnar proved that he is the toughest s.o.b. around. After taking a beat down by Shane Carwin in the first round he came out in the second and choked out Carwin to retain the heavyweight world title. Whether you like him or hate him you have to give him credit on an awesome performance and proving he can take a punch. Up next is Cain Velasquez somewhere in the future.

Big Stone Lake Invasion
It will be an evening of great Mixed Martial Arts Competition as the Bushido Fighting Championship invades Big Stone Lake on Saturday, August 21st. The fight card is currently being lined up with 4 Championships confirmed and on the line so far. There will be a full Amateur card to include Amateur and Pro Main Events to finish out the evening. This event will feature the unveiling of five new Championship Circuit Titles to be defended throughout the Midwestern Region.

The Cage Inc. Delivers Once Again
Matt Delanoit from Omaha, Nebraska fighting out of Elite Performance battled reinging Cage Inc. 170 pound champion Chuck Parmelee out of Sioux City, Ia. One of the most highly anticipated match ups ever in South Dakota, didn’t disappoint. Delanoit started off the year with two loses too former UFC fighters John Alessio and Josh Neer before beating Ray Steinbeiss in Minneapolis in the month of April. The win over Steinbeiss showed the improvement in Delanoits game and proved he is a game opponent for anyone. This matchup with Parmelee is one where both fighters could very easily be seen on a larger promotion one would think. Both men threw punches and kicks and were evenly matched up, but it was Delanoit who was the better man this evening, and showed he is ready for the next step. Delanoit gets the TKO victory via ground and pound at 1:12 of round number one and becomes the new Welterweight Champion. Exciting fight and hats off to the Cage Inc. for putting this one together. It was an outdoor event and thankfully the rain disappeared before the fights and it was a great evening.
